What should I bring on the tour?

Our tours are out in the elements and range from several hours to half or a full day. We do supply food and drinks for the duration, however you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring other items that will make your tour more comfortable.

Starsand is a sailing yacht, so if you get seasick (or are not sure if you will or won’t), please take or bring along seasickness tablets just in case.

Sun Safety

As we are out in the  elements, we’d like everyone to be sun safe so please bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.

Some of our tours allow the opportunity to go swimming so please bring swimmers, a towel, and snorkelling gear if you have it (specifically our Rottnest Island or Carnac Island tours).

Make sure to bring a camera to record your tour. It might be a good idea to have a strap connected to your camera just in case of choppy seas.

What should I wear on the tour?

Please wear something comfortable and casual.

Depending on the time of year, cool weather or a breeze may come up and our tours can get chilly so a jumper/jacket is advised.

Your safety is paramount so we DON’T ALLOW boots, court shoes, black-soled runners or high heels.
